"O Ministério do Ambiente alemão anunciou hoje que já atingiu, com quatro anos de avanço, os objectivos de redução das emissões de CO2, fixados pelo Protocolo de Quioto." (Xiça! Jà?! Nem esperam pelos outros?!)
"No ano passado, as emissões alemãs eram 22,4 por cento mais baixas do que em 1990, ou seja, uma meta 2,4 por cento superior ao que lhe foi fixado por Quioto, até 2012." (Ainda por cima baixam mais do que deviam? Cambada de "graxistas"!)
P.S. Como estarà Portugal em 2012? Talvez a juntar trocos para comprar taxas de emissao a outros paises... com alguma ironia provavelmente estarà nessa altura a dar dinheiro à Alemanha! Espero estar enganado e consiguemos atingir as metas. O relatòrio da European Environment Agency (16-10-2008) refere o seguinte:
"In 2006, Portugal's emissions were 38% higher than the base-year level, well above its burden-sharing target of +27% for the period 2008-2012. According to Portugal's projections, with the existing policies and measures, emissions will further increase to reach by 2010 a level 44% above base-year emissions. However, Portugal expects to achieve its target through emission reductions from the implementation of additional measures, use of Kyoto mechanisms (financing emission reduction projects in other countries) and carbon sink activities, reaching a level 23% above base-year emissions."
